This treatment is intended for males who have been diagnosed with medical conditions that cause low testosterone, confirmed through laboratory testing and clinical evaluation. The therapy aims to alleviate symptoms such as decreased libido, fatigue, and loss of muscle mass, helping to restore physiological functions that are dependent on this crucial hormone. Enclomiphene is used to increase testosterone level and maintain fertility in men by stimulating the body’s natural hormone production pathways.

How it Works

This medication works by introducing a synthetic form of testosterone into the body, which functions identically to the naturally produced hormone. The testosterone is gradually released into the bloodstream, where it travels throughout the body to bind with androgen receptors in various tissues. Usage and Safety

The dosage and frequency of injections are determined by a physician based on the patient’s specific condition and testosterone levels. It is critical to adhere to the prescribed schedule. Patients should inform their doctor of their complete medical history, including any history of heart, kidney, or liver disease, prostate issues, or sleep apnea, as testosterone therapy can worsen these conditions. Regular blood tests and follow-up appointments are necessary to monitor treatment progress, check for potential side effects such as increased red blood cell count or changes in cholesterol levels, and adjust the dosage as needed. Lab Fees for Hormone Evaluation

Laboratory tests required for evaluating eligibility for testosterone or hormone therapy are included in the treatment plan at no additional cost. If a patient meets the clinical criteria and qualifies for testosterone or hormone therapy, the lab fees will be covered by the plan and will not be billed to the patient. Should the evaluation determine that the patient does not qualify for therapy, standard laboratory pricing of $109 will apply and the patient will be responsible for those costs.
